Keep the sustainability theme running and register for a new webinar series, offered by WebJunction and the Sustainable Libraries Initiative. This series of six webinars support libraries as they address the climate crisis and the great challenges it brings.

This series is designed to:

  • Provide a basic understanding of sustainability as a new (as of 2019) core value of the profession
  • Demonstrate what climate action looks like in libraries, even in parts of the country where it may not be popular to talk about climate change
  • Offer practical advice, ideas, and examples for how each library can intentionally address climate change

The webinars will describe real-world examples of libraries successfully engaging in sustainable thinking in ways that align our profession’s core values with our work.
